HGH is open to boys and girls in grades 4th through 8th. Players are placed on rosters by grade group — 4th–5th, 6th, and 7th–8th — so everyone trains and competes at the right level.
No. We build from fundamentals up, so committed players of all experience levels are welcome. What matters most is a willingness to work, learn, and compete as a teammate.
The Fall 2026 season runs 10–12 weeks. Each team practices twice a week for 90 minutes and competes in 4–6 AAU tournaments, with skills sessions and player evaluations built in throughout.
The season includes all practices, tournament entry, skills development sessions, your player's uniform and team equipment, and individual evaluations. Optional clinics, private training, and camps are available as add-ons — see the season page for details, or reach out for current pricing.
HGH is based in Newton, MA, and practices at gyms in the area. Tournament locations vary across the region — full schedules and directions are shared with families once teams are set.
Start by requesting a tryout. Rosters are intentionally small (8–10 players), so spots are limited — the earlier you reach out, the better.
We're happy to help.
Reach out anytime, or go ahead and request a tryout — there's no commitment to get started.
